Education and training

Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, GP training, workplace-based supervision and selected academic work.

GP training and clinical supervision

As a GP trainer and clinical supervisor, I provide regular supervision and debriefing for GP registrars and pharmacists.

I support learners with:

  • Case-based discussions
  • Observed consultations
  • Consultation observation tools
  • Clinical examination and procedural skills
  • Workplace-based assessment
  • Reflective learning
  • Clinical debriefing
  • Managing uncertainty
  • Recognition of risk
  • Safe escalation
  • Sensitive communication
  • Patient-centred decision-making

My approach focuses on helping learners develop structured clinical reasoning, professional confidence and safe independent practice. I aim to provide feedback that is constructive, specific and responsive to the needs of the individual learner.
